# What is TwitScription(XRC20)?

The World's First Inscription for Twitter

XRC20 is the first social inscription token, issued with X as the recording location for inscriptions. Users can post inscriptions on their X account in accordance with XRC20 rules, enabling them to deploy, mint, or transfer tokens. Applied inscriptions are accessible through [**TwitScription protocol**](https://app.twitscription.xyz). 

This process is innovative as it allows inscriptions to occur entirely for free through a social chain, yet still provides smooth integration with a blockchain for trading purposes.
